The new Dock of the Bay opened its doors for the first time on October 15th, 2014. We opened while other dock bars were closing for the season. Our purpose in opening was to develop staff, develop a menu, learn the local eating and drinking patterns and establish a culture. We are happy to have accomplished our goals. We understand that we are always a work in progress and there is always room for improvement.
At the Dock of the Bay we expect to attract new customers from our world class views and outdoor dining. We expect those new customers to come back because of the food, drinks and outstanding service.
We only buy the finest ingredients for our menu. Potato chips and Nachos are fried in house and French Fries are fresh cut. We buy only the finest fresh crab meat and local fresh oysters. Our hamburgers are hand patted and cooked on a grill. Our crabs come directly from our dock to our steamer to your table.
Our desserts are all made in house daily. Our featured dessert is a Brownie peanut butter cake. Don't hesitate to ask us to customize a cake for your next occasion. Our chef, Nicole can accommodate most requests.
Our bar is fully stocked and ready to serve all varieties of cocktails. This summer we will feature Kurt's Bloody Mary's where we marinate the vodka for a week in tomatoes, peppers, onions, hot peppers and garlic. We will have orange, grapefruit, mango, and Pineapple crushes. Our Malibu buckets will have two, three and four shot options. Our draft, bottles and buckets will always be ice cold.
Our servers are equipped with the latest POS remote tablets. Your drink order is being made while your appetizer order is taken. If we are on our game, your drinks will arrive as you are finish ordering your entrees.
